Dr. Thomas J. Webster’s (H index: 121; Google Scholar) degrees are in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (B.S., 1995; USA) and in biomedical engineering from RPI (Ph.D., 2000; USA). He has served as a professor at Purdue (2000-2005), Brown (2005-2012), and Northeastern (2012-2021; serving as Chemical Engineering Department Chair from 2012 – 2019) Universities and has formed over a dozen companies who have numerous FDA approved medical products currently improving human health. He is currently helping those companies and serves as a professor at Hebei University of Technology, Saveetha University, Vellore Institute of Technology, UFPI, and others.
Dr. Andrade, a Food Engineering graduate from Federal University of Lavras (2008), received his PhD from UNICAMP in 2016. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory/Dempster USP, he became an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). Dr. Andrade specializes in biotechnological processes, including fermentation, bacterial metabolism, and mass spectrometry. He has published 35 scientific articles, 14 book chapters, and holds 2 patents
Dr. Puppi graduated with an MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy, in 2005. She then joined Prof. Emo Chiellini’s research group at the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry, University of Pisa. She earned her PhD in Biomaterials in 2009 and now works as a Senior Research Fellow in Industrial Chemistry at the same institution. Dr. Puppi has published over 60 research articles in SCI(E) journals, receiving more than 2700 citations (Scopus database).

Tania Limongi is an Assistant Professor at DISAT, Politecnico di Torino. She researches applied physics, biology, biomedical engineering, and materials science. Her projects include drug technology, liposome and vesicle engineering, and biomimetic nanotools. She has authored 4 patents and over 80 publications.
